Every new website includes a 12-month stability window. During this period, your hosting and core site infrastructure stay in place so we can ensure everything runs reliably, catch and issues early, and make sure your site performs the way it should.
This isn’t a contract trick — it’s a practical reality. Troubleshooting a website that’s changing hosting providers, swapping plugins, or getting modified by multiple hands is like trying to repair a castle while someone else is rearranging the foundation. The stability period lets us do our job well, and it protects your investment.
After 12 months, you’re completely free. Stay with us, switch to another provider, or take everything with you. We’ll help you pack — your files, your licenses, your entire site. We don’t hold hostages and we don’t hoard what’s not ours.

Already have a domain or a site idea but no hosting? We’ll get you set up on reliable hosting with WordPress installed and ready to go. You can build from there yourself, come back to us later for a full build, or hire us for ongoing maintenance.

Want a professional email address at your domain (you@yourbusiness.com) instead of a free Gmail or Yahoo account? We’ll set up domain-based email through your hosting or a provider like Google Workspace, configure it on your devices, and make sure it actually sends and receives properly.

Do I really own everything you build for me?
Yes. Every file, every image, every line of code. If you ever want to leave, we’ll help you pack. Your website is your property, not ours.
What’s the 12-month stability period?
For the first 12 months, your hosting and core site infrastructure stay in place so we can make sure everything runs reliably. It protects your investment and lets us do our job properly. After that, you’re free to stay, leave, or take everything with you.
(This policy is for both our protection. We have had past clients change hosting every single month [and even more often sometimes] chasing only the cheapest price and often end up with hosting that doesn’t allow WordPress to function properly, is extremely slow, blocks certain access protocols, doesn’t allow email sending, or many other problems. We also heavily restrict access to back-end hosting functions during this period. If you need access, I’ll let you have it, but if you go digging into the brains of your site just to “look around a little bit” and make changes that completely block all access to your website…it’ll be really inconvenient for everyone involved.)
I already have hosting. Can you still build my site?
In a majority of cases, yes. We prefer to host on our own infrastructure because it makes support and maintenance easier, but we’ll work with your existing hosting if we can. The stability period still applies — we need the hosting environment to stay consistent so we can build and troubleshoot effectively.
(A vast majority of hosting providers these days are capable of hosting WordPress sites and many even have WordPress-specific offerings. There are those still out there that simply cannot effectively host WordPress sites due to varying combinations of server type, security settings, or restrictive company policies.)
What if I just need one thing, not a whole website?
We offer individual services like domain setup, hosting, social media profiles, email configuration, and plugin installation. Check out our a la carte options in the Web Design section, or tell us what you need through the Get Started quote form.
How long does a website build take?
This is one of those questions that is, unfortunately, answered best with “Well that depends…”
Most Informational sites take 2-4 weeks from deposit to launch. Functional builds run 3-6 weeks. Commerce sites can take 4-8 weeks or longer depending on complexity. The biggest variable is how quickly you get us your content and feedback — if we haven’t been provided the needed materials, we can’t build websites out of only hopes and dreams. (Wouldn’t that be amazing though? If you figure out how to do that let me know and I’ll happily fire up YouTube and learn it ASAP.)
Do you do logos?
Kinda. Our creative strength is taking your existing brand assets and turning them into finished materials — business cards, flyers, web graphics, and everything else. If you need a logo created from scratch, we can coordinate through our network of specialists and make sure the result works across everything we build for you.
What happens if something breaks?
If you’re on one of our maintenance plans, we handle it. Essential covers security and disaster recovery. Standard and Priority include progressively more hands-on support. If you’re not on a maintenance plan, you can always reach out for one-time service.
Can I update my own website?
Absolutely. WordPress is built for this, and we build sites specifically so you can manage your own content. We’ll walk you through the basics at launch. If you’d rather not touch it yourself, our Standard and Priority maintenance plans include done-for-you content updates.
